AKT Management - Course Structure


Musical Theatre

Students study all aspects of Musical Theatre with a focus on creating the triple threat performer. Students will have an equal focus on Drama, Dance and Singing. These disciplines will be explored with keen interest being paid to the musical theatre genre and technique. 

These classes are three hours in length with one hour being dedicated to each discipline. Students will have a fifteen-minute break within the session and on rotation will work on various skills, demonstrations, productions and full-scale musical performance. 

Within these session students will also be able to work towards musical theatre examinations as part of their demonstrations. 

AGE: 6 - 9, 10 - 14 and 15 +



Acting stage & screen

These classes are 1hr 30minutes in length and students will be given a full insight to all aspects of acting for stage and screen. AKT students will explore various techniques and practitioners. AKT-ing will work across a season syllabus spread into three study blocks (Terms) designed to optimise development, maximise preparation and continuously build confidence, knowledge and skill.

AKT Extras

AKT are pleased to offer individual discipline and extra sessions, these are open to students who attend the other strands of the academy and also open to students who only wish to attend these disciplines.

Classes for all


Jazz - 1.5hr session 

Ballet - 1.5hr session

Tap - 1.5hr session

Additions sessions:


LAMDA – 30min 

(LAMDA Examination – All grade) 

These can be small groups or individual


Private 30/1hr singing sessions to build confidence or technique for performance

(These sessions may also take place in small groups to assist with confidence growth)
